The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), on Wednesday, October 17, approved the additional P2 for the minimum jeepney fare which will start this November.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, the minimum jeepney fare will be P10 from the P8 minimum fare before the P1 provisional fare increase was approved by LTFRB.

The decision’s effectivity will be implemented on the first week of November but LTFRB said that jeepney drivers must charge the current P9 minimum fare until the order has been released.
Those who will violate may be charged with overcharging, and a P5,000-fine for the first offense.
