Comedian Bayani Agbayani was among the celebrities who joined President Rodrigo Duterte and other government officials for a 4-day visit in Japan.
In a report by Pep, Bayani admitted that senator-elect Bong Go took care of his trip to Japan where he and other celebrities performed for the Filipino OFWs.

Bayani said, revealing that he was given an economy class ticket and that he was not paid a single centavo: “Mapapanghawakan ko lang ang sarili ko, ha? Hindi ko alam yung sa iba. Akala ko, blowout sa amin, yun pala, magtatrabaho kami. Kaya sabi ko kay Lenlen, matuwa na lang tayo dahil nakita naman, tinitipid talaga nila.”
Bayani also said that he found out about the bashing received by celebrity couple Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz who earlier claimed that they paid for their tickets.
According to Bayani, what he knew was Dianne was part of the group and that she just bought a ticket for Rodjun to join her on the trip.
Bayani shared: “Sabi ko nga sa kanila, dapat sinasagot ninyo nang tama ang bawat tanong. Kung ano yung tanong, yun ang sagot. Kasi, hindi naman puwede na ikaw pa ang magbabayad ng pamasahe mo, ‘tapos ikaw pa ang magpi-perform. Ano ka, tanga? Normal naman yun, e.”
