Chito Miranda on millennials getting offended by songs: “Sometimes, yung mga millennials masyadong sensitive”

‘Parokya Ni Edgar’ front man Chito Miranda aired his sentiments about millennials who seem to get easily offended.

During his live performance with his band, Chito mentioned how he thinks millennials would get offended by their classic hit “Silvertoes” which talks about a woman seemingly admiring herself too much amid not being pleasing for others.

Chito said after his performance: “Uy, salamat hindi kayo na-offend sa song. Salamat, na-appreciate niyo ha. Disclaimer lang ha, nothing against the millennials, pero sometimes yung mga millennials masyadong sensitive.”

“Nung nilabas naming yung kantang yan nung 1998, walang na-offend. alam niyo kung bakit? Tayong mga batang 90’s we do not get offended by songs,” he added.

He then apologized if ever they offended millennials in the audience, saying: “Again, nothing against millennials. Kung na-offend kayo, sorry.”
