Whitney Tyson has brought laughter to people during the height of her showbiz career but after being out of the limelight, the comedienne has experienced things she has never imagined, including living under the bridge.
In a recent episode of Rated K, Whitney shared how her life has become after she started to lose project offers in showbiz.

When asked if she feels upset after losing her showbiz career, Whitney answered: “Oo. Kasi yung mga tao pag nakikita ka, sasabihin nila ‘Ay yung laos na artista!’ Yuna ang madalas kong naririning, kaya sabi ko pag ako nagdadasal, sana naman bigyan pa ako ng isa na makita ulit ako sa telebisyon.”
Whitney shared her experiences as she lived under the Nagtahan bridge for 15 years before being brought to a relocation site in Bulacan.
She said: “Dito ko lahat naranasan yung hirap, yung saya, yung sakit. Ang pinakamahirap na naranasan namin dito, yung madaling araw na, sinunog kami.”
Whitney now works as an on-call entertainer in fiestas and is currently working in a videoke bar in Muntinlupa.
She then described her life after showbiz as that of an ant: “Ang buhay ko parang langgam. Kahit walang tulog sugod ng sugod kung saan ang schedule namin. Ang tulog nalang namin sa bus or sa service, kung may service. Tapos mag-ipon ng mag-ipon dahil pagdating nang July at August, yan ang mga raining season na, wala nang labasan iyan.”
