Julia Barretto’ sister Dani Barretto received backlash online after she accused Joshua Garcia of cheating on her sister when they were still in a relationship.
In her twitter post, Dani claimed that Joshua cheated on Julia and defended her sister from bashers. However, some netizens thought that Dani also confirmed Julia’s cheating on Joshua after she used the word “too” in her tweet.

Dani wrote: “Oh let me correct myself. nakarinig ba kayo ng paninira galing sa kapatid ko the first time he cheated on her too? Oh hindi mo alam yun noh? Marami kasi kayong hindi alam. Kaya manahimik nalang kayo. :)”
After receiving backlash online, Dani clarified her tweet about cheating and wrote: “Ang ibig sabihin niyan sa tagalog, MAY NARINIG DIN BA KAYO SA KAPATID KO NUNG NAG CHEAT SI JOSH THE FIRST TIME.”
“Let me just clear this sh*t before I sleep and pray for the dark souls of these bashers. Tigil tigilan niyo ng gumawa ng kwento utang na loob. If hindi kayo maka intindi ng english, WAG KAYO MAG IMBENTO. This is the translation in TAGALOG of my tweet earlier,” she wrote in the Twitter post’s caption.

Julia recently released a statement over her alleged involvement in Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo’s rumored break up.
Julia wrote as part of her statement addressed to Bea: “Since I was brought into this mess without a choice, this is what I have to say. Your heartbreak should have been a private matter, but you have selfishly turned it into something of national concern.”
“You can play the victim all you want, but I refuse to be your victim,” Julia added.
