Despite labeling their relationship as ‘friends’, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and Mayor Herbert Bautista have always had this ‘special’ bond as the two admittedly had an understanding in the past but later decided not to pursue what they had.
They were even spotted watching a movie together just recently and Kris also attended the mayor’s birthday party but still, the two remained as ‘friends’.

In her recent Instagram video, Kris gave a message to an unnamed person whom she waited for four years.
Kris said: “I made a promise, okay, and Ik’m telling you all of this now. Kasi I showed the phone, right? And you saw that there were no replies. Because I promised I would never reply. I made a choice, I made a decision because every serious relationship I had lasted four years and hinintay ko siya ng four years. Lumipas na yung four years so I said, I’m done.”
“Independence Day so I’m declaring my independence. Thank you, when I needed someone you were there. But I’m okay already. Hindi mo na ako kailangan i-check kasi emotionally healed, financially, professionally in a good place. So this is the perfect time. This is the perfect time for me to say thank you. I wish for your happiness is not a lie.”
