Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla expressed his joy on his social media accounts after the Sandiganbayan acquitted his father Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. of plunder in the pork barrel scam case.
The court found the former senator not guilty of misusing the public funds during the promulgation held on Friday, December 7.

Jolo then thanked everyone who prayed for his dad’s case and wrote in his Instagram post: “Uuwi na kami ni Papa! Kumpleto na ulit ang pamilya namin sa aming bahay. Maraming maraming salamat sa lahat ng nagdasal para sa kanyang paglaya.The truth will always prevail!

The former senator was detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame for four years after being accused of allocating P224 million from his ‘pork barrel’ to Janet lim Napoles’ bogus non-government organizations.
