Despite having ended their relationship, Joshua Garcia has expressed his support to former girlfriend Julia Barretto who has been involved in a controversy after being romantically linked to actor Gerald Anderson.
In her Instagram stories, Julia expressed her appreciation to Joshua who sent her an encouraging message for the actress whom he referred to as the “strongest girl” he has known.

Joshua and Julia earlier confirmed that they are back to being best friends amid rumors about their break up.
Even before their confirmed split, Julia has been involved in controversy after she was linked to Gerald while they were doing the movie ‘Between Maybes’ which they shot in Japan.
Speculations about and Julia’s alleged romance sparked anew after the actor’s girlfriend Bea Alonzo shared a cryptic post on Instagram about committing the same mistake twice.
Bea’s post was followed by photos of Julia and Gerald together which were shared by netizens online, including pictures allegedly taken during their vacation together, as well as photos of them together in a party.
As of writing, neither Bea nor Gerald has confirmed reports about their split.
