Julia Barretto once again drew attention online after she posted an Instagram update, sharing a poem written by Sheleana Aiyana about being strong and moving forward.
However, Julia later deleted her Instagram post after it was flooded with comments, including negative remarks from netizens which reached over a thousand in just less than half an hour.

The poem says: “You are stronger than the stories of unworthiness in your head.
You are more resilient than the pain of your past.
You are more powerful than the forces that tried to tame your spirit.
Do not let the darkness you have seen become you.
Do not let old stories hold you captive.
Let them serve as symbols of your resilience and strength, but do not remain identified with your pain.
We are not meant to live from our stories.
When the dust settles, we must make a choice, which path to take.
The first path is to hold onto our pain and carry out stories with us.
The other is to let love win. To do the work to keep our hearts open and our minds clear.
To move forward with presence and allow ourselves to receive all of the beauty and abundance we deserve.

Julia has been a trending topic online after she was romantically linked with actor Gerald Anderson, tagging her as the reason of his break up with Bea Alonzo.
Speculations sparked after Bea shared a cryptic Instagram post about committing the same mistake twice. However, Bea said in a recent interview that she and Gerald did not have a formal breaak up and that the actor just started not talking to her.
