Kapamilya teen queen Kathryn Bernardo is teen no more as she turned 23 years old on Tuesday, March 26.
To mark her birthday, Kathryn posted a short video of her alongside her definition of womanhood as she turns ‘older and wiser’, defying people’s expectations about what being a grown up woman means.

She wrote: “Ready to turn over a new leaf! Thank you @shairaluna for capturing this moment a few days before I officially turned a year older (and wiser, I hope). ? So many people have so many expectations about what it really means to enter womanhood, specifically about how one should dress, talk, or behave in general. I don’t know about any of these things, but I do know I want to define womanhood on my own terms. For me, it means being able to move at my own pace, feeling more comfortable in my own skin, embracing my flaws, and not having to explain to anyone why I am what I am. ❤”
For this year, Kathryn earlier revealed that she and her boyfriend Daniel Padilla decided to take a break from working with each other in showbiz projects.
The 23-year-old actress is set to star in an upcoming film with Kapuso actor Alden Richards.
