Kris Aquino to bashers of her relief goods distribution: “Hindi naman para sa inyo ang ginawa ko”

Kris later said that what she did for those in need is dedicated to her mom, the late President Cory Aquino.

“Tonight was for you, mom. Your baby did what she knows in her heart would make you smile. After all, i’ll always try to be the best version of me because i want to be more like you,” she added.

i saw pictures of suffering & i knew i’d feel guilt by continuing to rest & ignoring it… maybe it’s because i’ve already experienced what it’s like to rebuild from zero that i knew a little personal effort from me could make a difference… some will criticize me for posting our effort to help- my answer- hindi naman para sa inyo ang ginawa ko… sana maraming ma encourage na mag share din ng blessings nila dahil ang sarap ng feeling makakita ng mga ngiti at makarinig ng THANK YOU. ?This was just a girl who has been given the privilege to resurrect from the ashes doing her share to uplift others- you see she knows what it’s like to feel like there was no tomorrow- yet she found the strength & she battled on. She’s trying to not let what hurt her in the past make her bitter, she’s doing her best to live a life where she has become better. (My sons & i have a TVC shoot on Friday, i shall obey my doctor, sign off from stress & get strong for the work ahead… ) Tonight was for you, mom.
