Former Senator Leila De Lima hit back at Mocha Uson who allegedly accused her of having cellphone and internet access inside her detention quarters.
In a statement released on her Facebook page, De Lima called Uson “Queen of Fake News” after explaining that her online accounts are being managed by her Comms staff upon her handwritten instructions.
De Lima wrote: “OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF SEN. LEILA M. DE LIMA
14 January 2019
It has come to my attention that Mocha Uson is spreading another disinformation that I have a cellphone and/or Internet access here at my quarters, citing my recent Twitter post about Bong Go’s shameless early campaigning and lack of delicadeza.
For the record, I categorically deny that I have a cellphone or access to Internet here in my detention quarters. Since my unjust arrest and detention in 24 February 2017, I have been diligently and faithfully complying with all the rules and regulations imposed by the custodial authorities. Besides, my quarters are subjected to regular search by a team of the PNP Custodial Unit. All this time, they have found no violation on my part. I am no lawbreaker.
I’m glad though that Ms. Uson is following my posts and tweets. For her information and education, my official accounts on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and e-mail are being administered by my Comms staff, upon my handwritten instructions. This fact can easily be verified.”
Good job, Sen. Ping (@iampinglacson)!
By sheer hard work and tenacity, your quixotic and lonesome quest for a pork-free budget is evincing some progress. Certainly a tough yet most compelling and imperative endeavor.
I'm with you on this. ### pic.twitter.com/THvXvuuu7j
