After starring in the 2016 film “Vince and Kath and James” with Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, Ronnie Alonte will portray his same role as James, this time with his girlfriend Loisa Andalio and Donny Pangilinan in an upcoming film “James and Pat and Dave”.
The film is a sequel to the 2016 film which will be under Star Cinema to be directed by “Vince and Kath and James” director Theodore Boborol.

In a report by ABS-CBN News, the story will revolve around the story of James after being ditched by Kath [Julia] over Vince [Joshua].
“Nakita naman natin na ‘yung meme na James has left the group. So obviously may nangyari sa personal na buhay ni James at doon niya makikilala ang character ni Pat. But definitely ‘yung character ni Pat and Dave may background sila together, may love history and kung paano manghimasok si James sa history ni Pat at Dave, ‘yun ang aabangan,” boborol said during the story conference of the film.
The director added that the movie will tell the story of the people who were not chosen.
