Binibining Pilipinas World 2007 Maggie Wilson Consunji and Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago expressed their disagreement with Catriona Gray winning the Best Swimsuit award during the Bb. Pilipinas 2018. Catriona won the Best Swimsuit award and ended up to be the Bb. Pilipinas Universe crown.
In an Instagram post, screenshots of comments made by the two former beauty queens showing their disagreement with the decision.
On Twitter, Bea posted saying the Best in Swimsuit is not all about the face:
