Doctors and medical staff pleaded to stop the shaming caused by viral photos and videos of emergency room staff caught sleeping while on duty after netizens blamed them for the death of a patient.
After receiving criticisms from netizens, the hashtag #NoToDoctorShaming started trending on social media as medical practitioners asked for understanding and shared the struggles they have to go through just to fulfill their duty of saving lives.
