Private cars with no passengers to be banned from EDSA during rush hours

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will soon ban private vehicles containing only one passenger to ply Edsa during rush hours. This came about after MMDA found out that 70 percent of vehicles in EDSA only have drivers in them without passengers during rush hour.

In an interview with DZBB 594, MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia said they will conduct a dry run before its full implementation.
