Robin Padilla mourns passing of stunt man Boy Roque

Bad boy of Philippine cinema Robin Padilla expressed his sadness over the passing of veteran stunt man Boy Roque whom he considers as his ‘maestro’ when it comes to Filipino martial arts.

Boy who has been known in portraying villain roles in television and movies passed away on Tuesday, April 9, because of heat attack.

In his Instagram account, Robin shared photos of him with Boy and expressed his gratitude to his late teacher for being an inspiration.

Robin wrote: “Pumanaw kagabi dahil sa atake sa puso ang aking maestro sa Filipino Martial Arts Guro Boy Roque. Pinakamalusog at pinakamalakas na Martial artist na kilala ko isang iglap wala na. Napakarami ko natutunan sa iyo sa pagiging mandirigmang pilipino nagawa nating matibay na pader ang ating depensa at opensiba sa labanan at palakasan ngunit………… kailanman ang puso natin ay hindi natin mapapalakas katulad ng ating pisikal na katawan kayat nananatili itong marupok dahil ito ay tumitibok hindi dahil sa ating lakas ng katawan o muscle tumitibok ito dahil sa ating nararamdaman na pagmamahal, pag ibig, kalungkutan at kasiyahan.
