Saab Magalona’s baby boy Pancho to undergo catheter removal surgery

Just more than a month after being brought out of the hospital, Saab Magalona’s son Pancho is set to undergo a surgery for the removal of a silicone catheter placed under his scalp.

Saab explained in an Instagram post that the catheter was put under Pancho’s scalp to relieve pressure on his brain due to excess fluid build up which he would not be needing anymore.

She wrote: “See that little bump on Pancho’s head? That’s an Ommaya Reservoir, a small silicone catheter put under his scalp when he was just a few days old. The reservoir was periodically tapped to relieve pressure on his brain caused by the buildup of excess fluids. So thankful for everyone’s prayers because he no longer needs the reservoir. God is good!”

She then asked for prayers for the successful surgery of her baby boy.

“Pancho will be undergoing surgery to remove it this Friday, May 11, so we ask for more prayers please for Pancho and his amazing doctors ☺️”
