Vico Sotto on Bobby Eusebio’s plan to file election protest: “Siya naman po ang mapapahiya”

Pasig City mayor-elect Vico Sotto gave his reaction over the plan of rival Robert “Bobby” Eusebio who earlier said that he will be filing an election protest against the 29-year-old politician.

During his interview with ANC Headstart, Sotto aired his opinion about Eusebio’s plan to protest and described it as ‘funny’, given that they had the custody of the ballots and ballot boxes as the incumbent government in the city.

Vico said: “Well, if it’s true and if he does push through with that, parang medyo nakakatawa naman. Sila yung incumbent, hawak nila yung ballot boxes, they had custody over the ballots and ballot boxes.”

“I hope it’s not true. I hope that, you know, maybe mainit lang ulo niya when he said that but I really think, if he does push through with that, siya naman po ang mapapahiya, hindi naman po kami.”

According to Vico, it is indeed his right to file a protest but said that it was time for them to move forward.

“It’s his right, he can do it if he wants but it’s time for us to move forward. I’m willing to work with him so that we can have a smooth transition in our local government.”
