China’s President Xi Jinping visited the Philippines to strengthen ties between the two countries. China and the Philippines signed 29 memorandum of understanding boosting the relationship between the two countries.
And to show the Filipino hospitality, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte hosted a State Dinner for President Xi Jinping. None other than broadway superstar Lea Salonga provided the entertainment singing “I Dreamed a Dream (Les Miserables)” to the delight of the crowd.
