After resigning from her position as Assistant Communications Secretary, Mocha Uson revealed that she is open to running for senate or congress in the 2019 elections but has not directly confirmed her decision yet.
During her interview with UNTV after her resignation, Mocha answered controversies between her and Vice President Leni Robredo regarding the alleged “lies” and “scandals” she has been involved into.

Mocha said: “Katulad nga po ng sinabi ko, patas na ang laban ngayon. Wala akong tinatago, wala akong kinatatakutan. Magharapan tayo mata sa mata, eyeliner to eyeliner. Di da? Mahilig din siya mag-eyeliner.. Totoo di ba? Waterproof siya..”
“Tsaka ma’am VP ha, alam niyo kung kasinungalingan lang nako, sino kaya ang totoong sinungaling? Maski nga iyang posisyon niyo bilang isang VP eh isang malaking kasinungalingan,” she added.
“Patas na ang laban ngayon, wala akong tinatago, wala akong kinakatakutan, magharapan tayo, mata sa mata, eyeliner to eyeliner, mahilig din siya mag-eyeliner”
