Winwyn mentioned how Binibining Pilipinas has a rule that one could not have existing contracts to be able to join the pageant.
Amid deciding to focus on her career, Winwyn expressed her gratitude for having been given the opportunity to represent the country in the international pageant stage.
“Importante sa akin na naipakita natin ang talento at kakayahan ng Filipino on the world stage. I will never forget my experience as your first Filipino Reina Hispanoamericana and for the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way,” she wrote.
