Saging na idinikit sa pader naibenta ng P365 milyon

It may sound unbelievable but you better believe it. A banana duct-taped to a wall was sold for $6.2 million at an auction at Sotheby’s in New York.

Justin Sun, a Chinese collector and founder of the cryptocurrency platform TRON bought the said banana. The said artwork was titled “Comedian” created by Italian-born artist Maurizio Cattelan.

It is a regular edible banana just like those in the market, affixed to the wall with a piece of duct tape.

Here is the video:

This ordinary banana, duct-taped to a white wall, sold at an art auction for $6.2 million. The banana is reigniting the debate about what value society is willing to place on normal objects because an artist calls it art. #banana #ducttape #art #wsj
