Meg Imperial responds to critics of her movie ‘Jacqueline Comes Home’

Actress Meg Imperial responded to critics of her upcoming movie ‘Jacqueline Comes Home’ with Donalyn Bartolome which focuses on the story of the Chiong family and the loss of Chiong sisters Jacqueline and Marijoy who were allegedly raped and murdered in Cebu back in 1997.

Netizens who have watched the 2012 documentary “Give Up Tomorrow” which focuses on the side of the accused Francisco “Paco” Larrañaga sparked discussions over social media and even called for a boycott of the upcoming film.

Meg who has been receiving backlash on social media responded to netizens, insisting that the film is not biased.

She wrote, responding to a netizen: “Have u seen the film? Guess not. Its based on real life story yes. But we didn’t point finger to anyone. Its not a biased film.”
