“Rainbow’s Sunset” wins big in MMFF 2018 awards night

Amid the lack of cinemas screening the film, “Rainbow’s Sunset” won big in the recently held Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 awards night last Thursday, December 27 at The Theatre at Solaire.

The said film directed by Joel Lamangan who also won as Best Director bagged several awards including Best Picture, Best Actress for Gloria Romero, Best Supporting Actress for Aiko Melendez, Best Supporting Actor for Tony Mabesa, Special Jury Prize for Eddie Garcia (Male) and Max Collins (Female).

The movie also bagged the Gat Puno J. Villegas Cultural Award, Best Production Design, Best Original Theme Song for “Sa ‘yo Na”, and Best Screenplay.
