The giant television Network, ABS-CBN issued a statement that tells about their stand against the action done by OSG or the Office of Solicitors General. They strongly state that they did not violate the law.
In an Instagram post shared by @abscbn, a photo of their official statement with the caption, “Statement of ABS-CBN on OSG’s Quo Warranto Petition.” The OSG filed a case against the network a Quo Warranto Petition. They even added that it is an effort to finally make the corporation shut down.

The news came out that the network will possibly shut down as they would not be allowed to renew their franchise in the near future. Celebrities of ABS-CBN even joined the petition about asking to not allow this to happen. The netizens are divided on this issue; nonetheless, their supporters are saddened if they will totally close.
