ABS-CBN executives remained faithful to their network’s tagline “in the service of the Filipino” by assuring their employees that there will no retrenchment for the next three months. Almost 11,000 workers might lose their jobs after the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) ordered ABS-CBN to shutdown their operations.
On her Instagram account, actress Bianca Gonzalez shared what transpired during their online chat with ABS-CBN bosses:

“Our bosses in a live chat with employees after broadcast ended:
For the next three months, wala pong mawawalan ng trabaho due to retrenchment. Active ang lahat ng benefits, including medical, sa panahon na ito.
Never been prouder to be a Kapamilya.”
But no one will be jobless for the next 3 months right?!so no 11,000 jobs on the line? before 3 months end sure balik ere na kayo so sana bawasan ang drama… pic.twitter.com/LJ4R1aMhmh
