In line with the plans to scale down their operations, ABS-CBN decided to close programs that have been on air for years. Current affairs programs have been the first casualty of the effect of Congress rejecting the franchise renewal of the Kapamilya network.
In a tweet by ABS-CBN news journalist Anjo Bagaoisan, most of the ABS-CBN current affairs program will be ending soon.
“#ABSCBNCurrentAffairs mula panganay hanggang bunso, lahat mamamaalam:
-Salamat Dok & Rated K, 2004
-SOCO, 2005
-Umagang KayGanda, 2007
-Matanglawin, 2008
-Failon Ngayon, 2009
-DocuCentral & MyPuhunan, 2013
-Sports U & Mission Possible, 2015
-Kuha Mo & #NoFilter, 2019”
