Actress Aiko Melendez expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she shared that having different candidate in the upcoming national elections shouldn’t be the reason for misunderstanding or fight.
In her Instagram account, Aiko shared that the love for the country should come first even though everyone has different opinions on whom to support on the upcoming elections.
According to Aiko, the ‘perfect example’ of it is her friendship with, talent manager and broadcaster Ogie Diaz as they respect each other even though they have different candidate whom they are supporting for the upcoming national elections.
“Hindi natin kailan man dapat pag awayan ang mga kandidato na nais nateng supportahan. Meron tayong kanya kanyang manok pero dapat manaig ang pagmamahal natin sa ating bansa. Perfect example kami ni Mader Ogie Diaz @ogie_diaz magkaiba ang aming Presidente at sya ang manager ko pero never nya inimpose sa akin na bawal ako magsupporta sa iba.
Kasi me RESPETO kami sa bawat isa po 🙂 Napapagusapan namen ang pulitika po pero we never dare ,cross the line. Nakikinig kami sa bawat magandang traits ng bawat kandidato. ✌️✌️✌️ Sana ung iba dn ganito ang pananaw po. Maturity also plays a good factor in every relationship 🙂”
