Actor Albie Casiño owned up to his mistake and apologized to actress Andi Eigenmann for some remarks he said before entering the Pinoy Big Brother house.
“I’m not going to hold my tongue so you can look good anymore. And my friends just saw her in Siargao and they said she’s super fat so that makes me super happy. I don’t know if that’s bad of me. But it brings me great joy to know she gained a lot of weight now. Yeah, I don’t care. That’s the truth. Di tayo nagpla-plastikan dito. That’s the way we do it man. Hindi tayo nakikipagplastikan dito. That’s the last thing we’re going to do.” Albie said in a recorded video.
In his recent guesting on Toni Gonzaga, Albie admitted his mistake and apologized to Andi for the things he said.
“First of all, I really didn’t think it would pick up that much traction. I really didn’t honestly think that it would spread like wildfire, what I said.” said Albie.
“I know now that I was wrong to say that. I want to apologize to everybody who was offended by what I had to say. I was in the spur of the moment. I was trying to say something—to be completely honest, I wanted to say something that would make her feel bad.” ALbie added.
“All the anger I had, all the pent-up frustration that I had from all the years. I felt like this would be a way for me to say something funny at the same time, get back at her for what did to me but I didn’t expect it to be taken that way.” Albie admitted.
“Like I said, I made a mistake then, I know I made a mistake now, and I want to apologize to everybody else who took what I said and got offended by it. I did not mean to offend anybody else. But then again, hindi ako naghuhugas kamay dito. I really did want to say something to make her feel bad and that’s also wrong.” quips Albie.
In a radio interview, ALbie again apologized to Andi and said he was simply trying to be funny.
