Fans and followers of GMA-7’s “Victor Magtanggol” were saddened after hearing reports that the Alden Richard starrer will end on November 16, 2018. In an article published by Pep.ph, production staff of the said teleserye said that it was not cut short but it was able to finish the intended run and was just not extended.
“Yun po ang nakakadagdag sa achievements sa Victor Magtanggol, e. Hindi lang yung bilang aktor. At least po, ang dami ko pong nagagawa dito na hindi ko po dati nagagawa sa ibang soap.” said Alden.

In lieu of Victor Magtanggol, a new show entitled “Cain at Abel” will take over the slot. Dennis Trillo and Dingdong Dantes will topbilled the new TV show.
