Actress and TV host Alex Gonzaga shared with her fans and followers her decision to have her nose implant removed. Alex said she made the decision because her nose frequently turns red.
In a vlog with dermatologist Dr. Vicki Belo, Alex said:
“Siguro dahil one time nangulangot ako nang super. Tapos parang after nun, nag-start na siyang mamula.”
Dr. Belo clarified that the incident is not a rejection:
“So what happened to you, I think, kasi it wasn’t a rejection. Kasi I think you kept thinking it was a rejection. Hindi naman na-reject. If you put silicone po sa ilong, mas mataas ang chances mo na mare-reject, I think it’s like 10 to 15%. Pero if it’s Gore-Tex, which is what we used with you, the chances of rejection are like 1 to 2%. It’s very mababa. And in your case, namumula siya, hindi dahil sa rejection.”
On Instagram, Alex posted a photo with the following caption:
“Pinatanggal ko na goretex ko!! Back to asian face tayo but hindi sa factory setting. My rhinoplasty journey vlog now up”
