Actress Alice Dixson can’t help but enlighten a netizen who questioned her being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
In her Instagram account, Alice shared a short video and photos. The said video was taken when she got her second dose of Pfizer Vaccine. It can be recalled that Alice got her first dose of the vaccine abroad.
“I had my 2nd dose of Pfizer here! Dra. Grace Padilla is doing an excellent job at Sta Ana Hospital ❤️May Paris kudos xx More good news for you – – 1500 vaccines tomorrow!!! Register na mga city mates 😉” Alice wrote in the caption.
In the comment section, one netizen can’t help but question her getting her second dose in Manila. The said netizen also accused Alice that she didn’t follow the ‘system’ in getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Some netizens also defended Alice from the accusations.

– “Hi! Isn’t the Pfizer roll-out in Manila only on its first dose palang, and only for people among the A1 to A3 priority group? Im from Manila, A1, had my first dose of Pfizer last week. So how come kayo po fully vaccinated na?”
– “pwede po pala na sa Manila yung second dose kahit hindi dito nagpa first dose? Ano pa po ang use ng Manila vaccination card? As far as i Know it’s required na naka first dose ka sa Manila, right? Kasi yung vaccines always in two doses. Mayor please respond and enlighten us”
-“yung natirang dose nya ang nasayang, dahil may isang tao na kukulangin ng second dose, dahil lahat ng order ay even numbers palagi dahil dalawang doses nga per tao.”
– “plus, paano syang nakapag second dose sa Manila? Sa vaccination sites it needs to be in the Manila system na doon ka nag first dose. The point is, hindi sumunod sa sistema”

The said remarks caught the attention of Alice as she can’t help but answer the accusations.
“Given your account is private and possibly a troll I normally would not respond, but for the sake of others who are waiting for vaccinations pa, I’ll humor you for their benefit.” Alice replied back.
“Our systems serve as a guide, as a general rule; however in cases of extenuating circumstances requiring for eg. someone to return back to their country of origin, shouldn’t our system be flexible? Remove the ‘artista’ or special treatment out of the equation… Paano ka for example if you were in my shoes? What would you do?
Ako kasi , Inabanngan ko po talaga ang pag dating ng Pfizer sa Pilipinas kaya nagregister din ako like everyone; Then shinare ko dito yun sites & link process. other kababayans do not need Pfizer and can still get other brands as guided in the public info links provided. Know that everything will work itself out because more vaccines are coming & everyone will get vaccinated. Wala po masasayang 🙏🏻” Alice added.
