TV host and comedian Allan K can’t help but be emotional as he shared his COVID-19 experience. His name “Allan K” trended on Twitter after he shared all the hardships that he went through recently.
In the “Bawal Jugemental” segment of GMA’s noontime show, “Eat Bulaga”, they featured people who contracted Coronavirus. During Allan K’s turn, he shared “bigla nalang akong nagkasakit na parang trangkaso. Parang trangkaso lang talaga ng feeling ko. So pabili ng gamot, hangang sa painit ng painit.”

“Ang dame kong nainom na gamot. Parang ulam ko na nga yung gamot eh na pangtrangkaso.” He added. Allan K shared that later on he realized that he lost his sense of smell and sense of taste. He also shared that he was extra careful when he is going out. “kulang na ngalang mag PPE ako pag lumalabas eh. Tapos kumpleto ako sa vitamins. Nag eexercise pa ako sa bahay” he added.
Allan K also admitted that he was in denial due to all the hardships that he went through since the year 2020 has started. “in denial ako na macocovid ako kasi parang masyado ng, nung magsimula yung 2020, masyado ng maraming hindi magaganda na nangyare sa buhay ko. Unang una, namatay yung bunso namen….. after 2 months, yung sister ko naman na tumira saakin ng 17 years….namatay din…. Namatay silang pareho na nasa pandemic tayo. So sinunog sila ng hindi ko sila nakita.” He said.
“tapos nag sara pa yung dalawa kong bars. Sabe ko hindi pwedeng mangyare sakin toh kasi alam ko na, yung nga diabetic ako. Tapos may edad na din tayo. Ayon kasi sa mga balita, pag ganun na yung case mo. Malamang sa mamamaalam ka na. Kaya nung nagpaswab ako, hindi ko na nga alam na nagpaswab ako. Hindi ko na matandaan” he emotionally added.
Allan recalled the time when he was tested positive as he shared “sinabeng positive nga ako sa Covid. Para akong ano, parang binagsakan ako ng mundo. Parang ano ba.”
In the end, Allan also expressed his gratitude to those who helped him in his battle with COVID-19.
