Actress Angel Locsin appealed to authorities to have a heart and give a little consideration to the six drivers who were jailed after holding a protest in Caloocan City. The jeepney drivers were protesting about the ban on passenger jeepneys due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The six were charge of disobedience, violation to physical distancing and resisting arrest to persons in authority. It was also reported that allegedly each will be required to pay a PhP 3,000 fine before they could be released.

Angel asked authorities to understand the situation of these people who simply want to earn a living for their family:
“Pls. If you cannot help them, Let them go home. They just want food for their families. Maraming gutom. Sabihin na nating may natangap, pero hindi natin alam kung enough na ba yun para sa pamilya nila para mapilitan silang lumabas. Konting puso and consideration.”
