Actress Angel Locsin expressed her admiration to Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong for his ‘sense of accountability.’ Mayor Magalong was heavily criticized when he along with his wife, attended the birthday party of Tim Yap at The Manor inside Camp John Hay last January 17, 2021.
The mayor tendered his “irrevocable resignation” from his responsibility as the country’s contact tracing czar.
On Instagram, Angel shared her meeting and impression of the mayor when she met him to discuss Covid vaccines.
“had a productive meeting with mayor Magalong and Sir Roland last week for covid vaccines and ibayan when we were in Baguio. I know he’s all over the news lately, so, I just want to share our experience with him.
He reminded us to wear our masks and face shields and to respect the locals by following safety protocols. He also wore his mask the whole time. Just putting this here not to justify pero para may ibang side naman 🙂
