Conspiracies on PPE (personal protective equipment) shortages air out as institutions, influencers and even artists like Angel Locsin, mention on social media how they continuously find suppliers who can produce enough supplies they need.
Neri Naig, an actress and wife of the ‘Parokya ni Edgar’ vocalist Chito Miranda, posted a picture of her son along with boxes of protective masks. Written under was her gratitude for the frontliners and her appreciation for the brands who continue to support their goal of sharing PPE’s.

In this IG post, Locsin commented, “Nag order ako ng ganito hanggang ngayon nasa customs pa din” gaining comments and reactions from netizen voicing the conspiracy of PPE shortages in the country.
These intrigues were addressed by Sen. Allan Cayetano saying that propagating fake news on shortages are not helpful. But, hearing out the efforts of institutions, organizations and private individuals who’s trying to reach out, was quiet a noise unbearable to ignore.
However, Angel Locsin commented upon these confusing claims by tweeting a post saying, “In times like these, let’s stop comparing help from regular citizens and government. To be honest, based on my experience, it would be VERY hard to help without the assistance of government. So, thank you to our local officials for assisting us and risking their lives as well” making at least a considerable end on doubts and negative impressions to our government and concerned citizens.
