Singer Angeline Quinto together with other devotees joined the annual ‘Translacion’ or the procession in celebration of the feat of the Black Nazarene.
On her Instagram account, Angeline shared photos of her while she was on top of the Black Nazarene’s carriage along with the caption sharing her short prayer and wrote: “Viva Pit Señor Nazareno. Maraming Salamat Ama. 🙏🙌🙌”

While some expressed their admiration to Angeline for braving the procession participated by millions of devotees, others criticized the singer’s presence on the carriage while others were struggling to make their way near the image.
On Twitter, a netizen claiming to be a devotee of the Black Nazarene called out Angeline and wrote: “Paki explain bakit nasa Andas si @LoveAQuinto? Hijos narin ba siya??? Anong kinaibahan niya sa aming mga hamak na deboto? Bukod sa magaling siya kumata. Gigil ako. 😤😤”
Angeline responded and explained: “Te, nahirapan din ako umakyat, pero mas di ko talaga keri yung pababa hahaha. Kaya umabot na sa simbahan. Wag ka gigil magagalit Mahal na Poon. Pare pareho tayo ng panata. Sabay ka sakin next year tutulungan kita.”

The netizen also replied to Angeline, saying: “Haha mamsh mas hirap kaming normal na deboto lang. Halos itulak kami ng mga Hijos na nakaalalay sayo hanggang ss loob. Sana all”
Angeline then revealed that she too got injured during the procession and wrote: “Hehehe diskarte lang Tol. Ako nga puro pasa. Dumugo pa ilong ko. Kasama ko nawalan pa ng Bra. ❤️”
Angeline also participated in last year’s Translacion.
