Actress Anne Curtis expressed her concern over a post on Twitter where it showed a resort in the vicinity of Chocolates Hills in Bohol.
The said resort is called Captain’s Peak Resort.
According to the Department of Tourism, the said resort is not an accredited tourism establishment. On the other hand, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said the said resort was issued a temporary closure order in September 2023, and a notice of violation in January 2024 for operating without an environmental compliance certificate.
On Twitter / X, Anne reposted a video with the following tweet:
“Is this true kaya? Sad naman if they are allowing this so close to the beautiful natural wonders of our country”
Netizens are with Anne that such an establishment should not be allowed or should not be existing in that area.
Is this true kaya? Sad naman if they are allowing this so close to the beautiful natural wonders of our country 😠https://t.co/ITucIPrXll
