Multi-awarded TV and radio broadcaster Arnold ‘Igan’ Clavio reacted to the recent post of Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto alleging that members of the media are receiving cash in exchange for interviews.
Mayor Vico did not name names in his post but posted photos of broadcasters Korina Sanchez-Roxas and Julius Babao during their interview with the Discayas.
Both camps of Korina and Julius already denied the accusations.
On Instagram, Arnold posted the following:

Nag-post si Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto sa kanyang FB account , “ Bago tanggapin ng mga kilalang journalists ang alok para mag-interview ng Contractor na Pumapasok sa Politika, hindi ba nila naisip na, “Uy teka, ba’t kaya handa ’to magbigay ng 10 million* para lang magpa-interview sa akin?? “
Kasama sa post ang mga larawan ng panayam nina Julius Babao at Korina Sanchez sa mag-asawang Discaya bago pa ang election noong Mayo. Bahagi ito ng pagpapakilala ng mag-asawang Discaya sa publiko dahil tatakbong alkalde ng Pasig City si Sarah Discaya .
Sa huli , sabi ni Sotto , “*not an exact figure pero alam nyo na.”
Mayor , kung mayroon kang matibay na ebidensiya laban kina Babao at Sanchez , na nagpabayad sa mag-asawang Discaya para sila ay makapanayam , ilantad mo .
