Popular Tagaytay restaurant Balay Dako in Tagaytay issued an official statement regarding an incident involving a customer and their aspin.
A certain Lara L. Antonio alleged that Tagaytay’s Balay Dako refused to let her and her aspin Yoda entry to the said restaurant.
“We got turned away from Balay Dako today for what I can only guess is because Yoda is an Aspin.” posted Lara.
“What’s clear to me is that they decide. They’ll decide based on what your dog looks like. And then they’ll let you know just like that. Okay lang naman kung online but there has to be clear guidelines.” added Lara.
The said incident drew flaks from netizens.
Balay issued the following statements and has apologized for the said incident:
“We are currently reviewing our policy to ensure it is clear, fair, and balances the needs of both pet owners and non-pet owners,”
