Bela Padilla expressed her dismay over people who take credit for the tourism of Siargao island which has become one of the most visited destinations in the country.
In her Twitter account, Bela aired her sentiments regarding the tourism of Siargao even before social media posts featuring the beauty of the island.

However, a netizen who has turned his account to private, allegedly insulted Bela and her work while exchanging tweets with the actress.
Bela wrote in one of her responses: “You just insulted my book, so how different are you? In contrast to you, I didn’t attack Lance personally because I dont know the guy. Can’t people point out things that are wrong now? As a person who pays for her trips to Siargao, can’t I be offended?”
