Actor and TV host Billy Crawford made some revelations during his interview with TV host Karen Davila.
In the latest YouTube vlog of Karen, she featured Billy and his wife, actress and TV host Coleen Garcia as she visited them at their home. During the vlog, the celebrity couple also gave a tour around their beautiful home.
In the said vlog, one of the questions asked by Karen to Billy was, “You and Coleen have a closer relationship with the Lord, and I see that, how did that changed you?”
“Completely. It was a complete 180 turn. I was addicted to Alcohol. My alcoholism was something else. I was going to Showtime drunk. Sometimes after ASAP, diretso bahay, inom. It was a good time. To be honest with you it was a great time.
Pero it was starting to affect me as a person. It was starting to affect my judgement. It was starting to affect my work. I was starting to affect kung sino talaga ako.” Billy shared.
“I guess the difference between Coleen kasi was she was never forceful. Parang reverse psychology ang ginawa nito. Parang binaliktad nalang, ‘you do whatever you want’ ganun.
Parang ako na yung, ‘I’m too tired. Ayaw ko ng uminom.’ I hate the hangover feeling after, the headaches, the restlessness, the fatigue. Nakakaapekto sa trabaho…”
“When we tied the knot, kasi muntik naman talaga hindi matuloy yung wedding namin because we’re going through a lot that time. Nung natuloy, I think that’s when God made a big visual premonition for me.
Because like I saw a happy family, I saw my mom and my dad get here which I prayed so hard for. And then that’s when I say, ‘Okay, I surrender.’” Billy added.
