Actor and TV host Billy Crawford shared the reason why he gave up his luxurious sneakers collection.
In TV host Julius Babao’s latest YouTube vlog, he featured Billy as he visited him on their home. During the vlog, Billy showcased some of his limited edition, luxurious sneakers. According to Billy, he decided to sell all his luxurious Nike ‘Jordans’ collection.
“Everybody knows me as ‘sneaker head’. Kaya lang, last few months, I actually ended selling all my Jordans… Siguro I don’t see the real value in it now for me personally. Siguro kung kokolektahin ko na hindi ko gagamitin. Like literally collect it, yes I understand.” Billy shared.
“But if I’m actually gonna wear and it’s gonna tear, and if it’s gonna be I’m paying the resale value, wag na. Parang hindi na tama, may pamilya na ako. Who knows if there’s another pandemic season ahead or whatnot. I just want to be sure na wala na akong sakit sa ulo…” Billy added.
Billy also shared that he used his sneakers for shows.
“So now no more, you don’t plan to buy mga new sneakers na medyo hype, na medyo expensive ones?” Julius asked Billy.
“Siguro I want my son, gusto ko matikman niya naman yung kung anong meron ako. Mas gusto ko mas higit pa yung meron siya kaysa saakin. So I want him to experience it. Wag na ako, tapos na ako diyan…” Billy said.
