Bimby, the youngest child of actress and TV host Kris Aquino shared how much his mom means to him. Kris is currently in the United States seeking medical attention for her autoimmune illness.
In his interview with talent manager Ogie Diaz, Bimby shared how blessed he is to experience the love of his mom for 17 years. Bimby considers Kris as his world and universe.
“I wrote in the letter na, ‘Mom, I know times are tough pero I’m so thankful na I had 17 years with the person I love the most.” ‘Di ba nga, other people, they only get to spend 10 years, five years, with the person they love the most. Eh, swerteng-swerte na ako na 17 years with my world, my universe, ‘di ba? So whatever time, whatever God gives us, blessing na ‘yun. Whatever time God gives me and mama,” Bimby said.
“Whatever God gives us, blessing na yun. When we learned about mom’s illness, it took me a few years to really accept. After acceptance, you learn to surrender lang,” Bimby added.
“That’s the best thing that I hear everyday, yung laugh ni Mama, and the feeling that I have when I am with my mom is indescribable eh. I really can’t explain how much I love my mom, above my words na yan eh,” Bimby stated.
“Hindi ako Diyos. I can only do so much to alleviate her (pain), to help her pero at the end of the day, I can’t fully take it away, diba? Kasi tao lang ako, tao lang si Mama. What can I do? All I can do is love her, support her, take care of her,” Bimby said.
