Writing from the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame, former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. marked his fourth year in prison though an emotional post he shared on Facebook.
In his Facebook post, the action star shared how there were times when he wanted to give up but said that he is still fighting to seek justice over his alleged involvement in the P10-billion pork barrel fund scam.

He wrote: “Today is exactly my 4th year in prison.
This is 4 years away from my family; missing out on the milestones of my children’s lives; 4 long years that I can no longer get back.
May mga panahon na dumating sa akin na talagang gusto ko na sumuko. Pagod na rin po ako. Pagod na pagod na… Ganunpaman, higit akong kumukuha ng lakas ng loob sa inyo at ibayong tiwala sa Panginoon na matatapos na rin naman lahat nito.
Dalangin ko pa rin ang katarungan. Dasal ko pa rin na mangibabaw na ang katotohanan. Hangad ko na sana, sa wakas, makamit ko ang hustisya.
Let us all continue to pray together! God is good!”
