TV talk show host Boy Abunda vowed to take care of James “Bimby” Aquino, the son of actress and TV host Kris Aquino, as he is both Bimby’s godfather and a family friend.
Speaking to reporters after hosting the 37th Star Awards for Television, Tito Boy shared that he remains in touch with Kris and is updated on her condition, as she continues to face some health challenges.

“We are in touch. Nag-uusap kami. Nadadalaw ko kapag may pagkakataon. And I continue to pray to God na she be well. Ako’y umaasa, positibo that she will be well,” said Tito Boy.
Tito Boy also clarified Kris’s statement that she is entrusting Bimby to him in case something happens to her.
“I wanna clarify that. Habilin, kasi, can be mishumor. Kahit anong mangyari, may sakit man or wala si Kris, responsibilidad ko si Bimby, bilang ninong o kaibigan nang matagal na panahon,” Boy said.
