R&B singer Angela Bofill passed away last June 14 at the age of 70. The sad news was announced at the singer’s official Facebook page.
According to reports, Angela died at her daughter’s home in Vallejo, California.
Angela was best remembered for her hit songs “This Time I’ll Be Sweeter”, “Tonight I Give In”, “Break It To Me Gently”, “You Should Know By Now” and many more.
On Facebook, the intial post was:
“ON BEHALF OF MY DEAR FRIEND ANGIE, I AM SADDENED TO ANNOUNCE HER PASSING ON THE MORNING OF JUNE 13TH. THE FUNERAL WILL BE HELD AT ST. DOMINCKS CHURCH IN VALEJO CA. ON JUNE 28TH AT 1:00pm.”
After which another post was made announcing of her passing:
“JUST TO CLEAR UP THE CONFUSION. ON BEHALF OF SHAUNA BOFILL, HUSBAND CHRIS PORTUGUESE, WE ARE SADDENED BUT MUST REPORT THAT THE PASSING OF ANGELA YESTERDAY IS INDEED TRUE. WE THANK MELBA MOORE AND MAYSA FOR THEIR EARLY CONDOLENCES.
