Carlo Aquino has opened up about his rift with former girlfriend and love team Angelica Panganiban following reports about their falling out shortly after their reunion movie ‘Exes Baggage’.
In his interview in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” together with Maine Mendoza for the promotion of their movie ‘Isa Pa With Feelings,’ Carlo addressed speculations about the issue involving him, Angelica, and his current girlfriend Trina Candaza.

Carlo said: “Kung nasaktan ko siya ganun, karapatan niya yun. Karapatan niyang pagdaanan. Karapatan niyang maramdaman yun. At wala akong, diba,hindi ko dapat pigilan yun kaya nung sinabi niya yun tapos nakarating sa akin sabi ko, okay lang naman okay lang.”
Host Boy Abunda then asked: “Diretsang tanong, pinaasa mo ba si Angge?”
Carlo answered: “Hindi ko.. Siguro po, siguro.”
When asked what went wrong between him and Angelica, Carlo said: “Oo Mahal ko siya pero, parang mas gusto ko nang mas friends kami. Natatakot lang talaga kasi ako na masaktan siya ulit.”
Carlo also admitted that his girlfriend Trina has something to do with his rift with Angelica, saying: “Kasi na-meet ko si Betrina bago mag-start yung movie [Exes Baggage]. Tapos, biglang hindi kami nagkita ng ilang buwan tpaos after nung movie nag re-connect kami.”
