Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi showcased her Darna-inspired national costume at the 2022 Miss universe stage held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Filipino fans felt so proud that Cortesi showcased the Philippine iconic here in an international stage.
Cortesi was introduced by the host this way:
“Darna is the ultimate Filipina superhero and part of the country’s pop culture. She transforms from an ordinary woman with the help of a white stone. Standing up for those who cannot defend themselves. Have no fear because Darna is here!”
